PHOENIX — Online used car retailer Carvana has expanded fast, contactless home delivery to another Arizona city, the state’s fourth largest.
The Tempe-based seller said the fast delivery option in the Flagstaff area hit the road earlier this week. Vehicles can arrive at their destination the next day.
Flagstaff joins Phoenix, Tucson and Sierra Vista on the list of Arizona cities where express delivery is available.
“We are confident that Flagstaff will appreciate the ease, convenience and value that comes with buying your car online and having it delivered to your door the next day,” Carvana CEO Ernie Garcia said in a statement Tuesday. Press.
Carvana said it offers the fast delivery service to customers in 315 US cities. A spokesperson said KTAR News 92.3 FM locations are chosen in part based on population and demand and whether there are plans for further expansion in Arizona.
The company opened in 2012 and gained attention for displaying vehicles from huge transparent structures resembling vending machines, including one in Tempe.
