Housing prices are down across much of California. However, as The Fresno Bee previously reported, Fresno and Tulare counties are still seeing month-over-month price increases, according to new data from the California Association of Realtors.

The map below, powered by data from national real estate company Zillow, shows the average home value in the Central San Joaquin Valley. Home values are available for major communities in the area, including Clovis, Visalia, Tulare, Hanford, and Fresno.

The most expensive real estate in the area is in Merced County’s small community of El Nido. And the best deals seem to be in Cantua Creek, population 376.

The map is updated once a month as new data becomes available.
